Questions to ask an IVF doctor
A first specialist visit is calmer when you arrive with a short list of questions. The aim is clarity on options, monitoring, costs, and timelines — not to diagnose yourself. These prompts are education for India-based fertility conversations. Best IVF Centers does not treat patients and does not collect AMH, reports, or a medical file on the matching form.
About your history and goals
Ask how your age, trying time, previous pregnancies or losses, surgeries, and medicines shape the plan. Share what matters to you: one child, more children later, travel limits, or language preference. A good consult listens before it lists procedures.
About the recommended plan
Ask what treatment is being discussed and why, what would change the plan, and what happens if a cycle is paused or cancelled. Ask who decides day-to-day dose changes. Best IVF Centers does not create treatment plans.
About monitoring and medicines
Ask how often visits and scans happen, which medicines may be used, how injections are taught, and which costs sit outside a cycle package. Clarify who to call on weekends if a scan timing changes.
About the lab and add-ons
If IVF or ICSI is mentioned, ask when ICSI is used, whether freezing is planned, how embryos are graded in that clinic’s words, and which add-ons are optional versus recommended for your case. Avoid pressure to buy packages you do not understand.
